Securepier concrete free foundation technology provides a fast effective way of founding posts and structures without the time consuming and often agonising task of organising and coordinating multiple trades, materials, contractors and machinery on your site when compared to other founding methods.

Securepier is a low impact and environmentally friendly system installed via steel tubular piles driven into the ground to the required depth by a simple jack hammer and proprietary driving tool. Once installed Securepier provides instant bearing capacity enabling you to continue with the construction process that same day saving you valuable time and labour costs.

Q. Do I require special equipment to install?
In order to install the system you will need to purchase a few specialist tools from us. The cost of these tools is relatively low. The other item you will require is a jack hammer which can be hired for around $ 100 a day or purchased for between $ 400 to $1200. 

Q. What wind regions can it be installed in?
Securepier can be installed in all wind regions inculding cyclonic. Our warranty even covers you for cyclonic conditions unlike other products on the market.

Q. What soil types will it go in?
The system has been designed and engineered to be installed in all soil conditions. Where rock is encountered you can predrill a hole to drive the piles into the ground. This is a far more superior way of dealing with rock sites than jack hammer a big hole in the ground only to fill back up again with concrete.

Q. What depth do the piles need to be driven in?
The piles are driven into the ground on average 1300mm. This really depends on how hard or soft your soil type is and the load being applied to the system. Our engineers will pre-determine this based on your structure type, loads being applied, wind region and soil conditions. There is no requirement to drive a test pile into the ground before determining the pile design depth or reach a certain torque or proof test the foundation once installed unlike other systems on the market today. These methods often lead to cost blow outs and variations to contracts.

Q. How long does it take to install?
The fastest we have ever installed the system was 7 minutes with five piles driven into the ground @ 1300mm deep. This did not include mounting the post or fitting a post top. Usually we recommend contractors allow 20 minutes to install each foundation when budgeting for project costs. This allows enough time for both hard or soft ground conditions, post and post top excluded.   

Securepier carries a 50 year structural warranty in line with the performance requirements of the Australian Standards for piled foundation systems and the normal design life of a building or infrastructure project here in Australia. Securepier’s heavy duty construction, combined with its hot dipped galvanised coating provides superior strength and durability over other systems on the market today.  

Our engineers evaluate the use of Securepier on a case by case basis, accessing factors such as, soil type - its strength and condition, atmospheric conditions (macro and micro environment), load being applied to the system,  wind and terrain category as well as many other factors involved. There is no “one size fits all approach”. If the information provided for a project is found to be insufficient to evaluate the use of Securepier in its desired location, our engineers will set each parameter to there worst case condition. This guarantees that all Standards are met, providing customers with piece of mind that Securepier will perform as required.   

Securepier is manufactured under ISO 9001 Quality Assurance programme here in Australia, eliminating all risk of non-conformance. Materials used in our manufacturing process are sourced from Australian suppliers only guaranteeing conformance and performance of the system.
